C95800 Aluminum Bronze is a premium nickel‑aluminium bronze alloy designed for heavy‑duty applications, offering very high strength combined with excellent wear, corrosion and fatigue resistance.

Key Features

This alloy delivers outstanding mechanical strength, superb resistance to sliding and impact wear, and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater or aggressive industrial environments. Its alloying and heat‑treatment capability make it ideal when high load, wear and reliability matter.

Typical Applications
  • Heavy duty bushings, bearings, gears and wear plates
  • Marine hardware including propeller components, pump & valve parts in seawater service
  • Industrial components in mining, steel‑making, chemical and heavy machinery sectors
  • Structural parts subject to high loads, shock and sliding wear
Forms of Supply

Supplied as cast or continuous cast bars, plates, tubes and forgings; available in a range of tempers. Cut‑to‑size, custom machined and finished solutions are available for delivery across UAE & Gulf region.

Technical Specifications

Specifications & Mechanical Properties
  • Copper (Cu): ≥ 79% – base matrix.
  • Aluminium (Al): 8.50‑9.50% – strengthens alloy and forms protective oxide film.
  • Nickel (Ni): 3.50‑4.50% – enhances toughness & corrosion resistance.
  • Iron (Fe): 3.50‑4.50% – adds strength and wear resistance.
  • Manganese (Mn): 0.80‑1.50% – refines structure.
  • Density: ~7.64 g/cm³ – heavy and robust material.
  • Tensile Strength (min): ~585 MPa (~85 ksi) – high load capability.
  • Yield Strength (0.5% Ext): ~241 MPa (~35 ksi) – excellent for a copper‑based alloy.
  • Brinell Hardness (3000 kg): ~159 BHN typical.
  • Processing / Treatment: Supplied as‑cast or annealed/heat‑treated; machining and proper heat‑treatment recommended for best performance.
Thermal, Electrical & Miscellaneous Properties
  • Melting Range: Solidus ~ 1043 °C, Liquidus ~ 1060 °C – high temperature resistance.
  • Thermal Conductivity: ~36 W/m·K – decent heat transfer for bronze alloy.
  • Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion: ~15.5 ×10⁻⁶ /K (20‑300 °C) – moderate thermal growth.
  • Electrical Conductivity: ~7% IACS at 20 °C – moderate conductivity.
  • Wear & Abrasion Resistance: Excellent under high load and sliding wear conditions – ideal for heavy duty service.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Very good in seawater, brackish water, and industrial environments due to protective aluminium‑oxide barrier.
  • Fatigue & Shock Performance: High resistance to deformation under overload and shock – suitable for heavy dynamic parts.
