304 stainless steel is the most widely used austenitic “18‑8” stainless alloy, offering excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and outstanding weldability. SS 304 (390) is ideal for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and consumer applications across the UAE.

Key Features

This grade combines strong corrosion resistance, ease of fabrication, and excellent formability. While it cannot be hardened by heat treatment, SS304 (210) and aisi 304 (70) can be strengthened by cold working, making it suitable for welded, drawn, or formed parts in demanding environments.

  • Carbon (C): ≤ 0.08% – controls carbide precipitation and maintains corrosion resistance.
  • Manganese (Mn): ≤ 2.00% – enhances strength and workability.
  • Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.75% – contributes to de‑oxidation and strength.
  • Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.045% – keeps brittleness low.
  • Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.03% – improves machinability.
  • Chromium (Cr): 18.0‑20.0% – provides corrosion resistance.
  • Nickel (Ni): 8.0‑10.5% – enhances formability and toughness.
  • Aluminium (Al) & Iron (Fe): Balance – base matrix elements.
Certifications
  • Supplied with standard Mill Test Certificates (MTC) for chemical and mechanical properties.
  • Available with EN10204 3.1 / 3.2 inspection certificates or equivalent third-party verification upon request.
  • Certificates can include compliance with ASTM, ISO, or customer-specified standards.
